It's Time For Another Brother Post...

What do Alli and I do at 12:00 at night? That's right. We look up missionary videos. Yep. My mom showed me this one a while back, but we re-watched it last night and I started crying again:

6 months and 15 days until my brother gets done! I can't wait! Yeah, yeah, I know before he left I said I wouldn't miss him, but I was TOTALLY lying! I miss him so much! He is doing such an awesome job in Peru! He's had more baptisms then we had stickers for on his missionary calender. He's close to being done, but he keeps going. He has grown up so much, I can tell, but he's still the same funny Mitch he was before. He's balding though, if you've seen some of his pictures, you can tell!

This is us when we were really little:
Me and Mitch in Disneyland... We really love the Muppets:)
Yes, there was a point in my life (It lasted for like a month) where I was a little taller than Mitchell.
This is the last picture taken of us all before he went into the MTC. Worst day EVER!
This was when Mitch took me to a Real Salt Lake game before he left on his mission! It was SOO fun!!!
This was my favorite day with Mitchell. We were on vacation to Disneyland/Universal Studios and the morning we were supposed to go to Universal Studios, Thomas got sick. So, my dad, Mitch, Jacob and I went without them. We got there and did the tour, and then my dad got a call from my mom saying Thomas felt better. So my dad left me and Mitch and took Jacob and they left to go get my mom and Thomas. We were in the park by ourselves for like 2 1/2 hours. It was SO fun! We wandered around, went into the haunted house, looked in the costume museum and went on all the rides! Oh, and got cinnabons too:) It was such a fun day with him!

He just makes me laugh:)

This was us at my cousin Drue's wedding.

Mema's house!

Next: Thomas. REGION CHAMPION in swimming! 2 events!!!! He is swimming in the state meet this weekend and he is going to be awesome!!! He is such a stud, he's not even 16 yet, but he's got a line of girls waiting to ask him to the sweetheart's dance in February!
Who wouldn't want to go with that^^^^^

And finally, Jacob: I was Skyping with my family on Sunday and Jacob comes on and just says "Maddi! Come home! Please come home!" Ha ha! He misses me! I miss my bud! Alli and I were talking the other day about why we just laugh at the weirdest things and she said it's because she hangs out with her little siblings a lot, and I realized that was my problem too! My best friend is a 9 year old!!!

ANDY GRAMMER

Holy smokes. That was a good concert. Now, I'm not saying it was better than Josh Groban, because it wasn't. But, it was a close 2nd. IT WAS SO AWESOME!

So, Alli and I spent most of the day getting ready (We had to look good for Andy). Then, we met Matt at Arctic Circle and had dinner. Then we drove over to the school. We went into the building and went downstairs to this little room where a few other people were sitting and waiting. They handed us these cool little badges:
We waited down in the room for about half an hour and in walks Andy Grammer. I mean, I knew he was coming but it still was like, "OH MY GOSH! There's Andy Grammer!" It was so cool! So we all lined up to get pictures with him. It was our turn and he was SOOOO nice! He just kept saying thanks for coming, and it's nice to meet you! AND he said that Alli and I were sweet:) We blushed and giggled a lot.
Me and Andy:)
All of us and Andy:)

So he signed some posters for us and then he left to get ready for the concert. We went and put our posters in my car and walked back inside and waited for the doors to open so we could sit down. They finally let us in and it was still like a half an hour before the show started.

Andy had two opening acts: some girl named Rachel Patton and Ryan Star. We had heard of Ryan before but not Rachel. So she went first and Dylan was in love. She had this really awesome drummer that got really into it. It was soooo funny!
Then she finished and it took a while for Ryan to get onstage, and when he finally did Alli and I were sooooooo excited! If you dont know who he is, you might recognize this song:

Oh, he was so funny. He sang a few of his own songs, but he also sang Rolling in the Deep and Don't Stop Believing. It was AWESOME! Then, he said he was going to the hall to sign autographs so Alli and I ran up there and we got a picture with him! We had him sign our passes and I told him he was awesome and then he looks at me and says, "You're awesome!" It made me happy! The picture is at a weird angle because he was leaning over a table and we were leaning back on it.

We ran back to our seats, but Andy didn't come on for about another 15 minutes. When he came onstage everyone went crazy! He was soo awesome! He made me so happy. I don't think we stopped smiling all night. We screamed so loud our throats are sore! He sang some of our favorites of his and he also sang Sunday Morning by Maroon 5 and my personal favorite Chasing Cars by Snow Patrol! It was so fun! Here's some more pictures and I'll post some of the videos to YouTube later:

So.... yeah... it was a pretty good concert! All 3 performers had SERIOUS talent. They sound the same live as they do on their cd! They're not like Rihanna, or Taylor Swift, or any of those crap singers who have to have their voice edited like none other to sound good. These guys had real talent and it was so awesome!
Ha ha, but anytime anyone wants to take me to a concert, feel free... I get pretty lucky at them:)

I am a Lucky Girl

MMM. Just take a look at that face. Now look again. AND one more time. Isn't it a beautiful face? Yes. yes it is. I like it, a lot. That face has a name and it is Andy Grammer. If you still don't know who he is this should help.
If you still don't know who he is, well I'm sorry. You should probably listen to the radio more.
Anyway, he has a concert here in St. George tomorrow and my friends and I weren't going to go. The tickets were only 8 bucks, but we still didn't go buy tickets. Well, there was this radio contest where you could win 3 tickets to the concert AND to meet him! SO, with our phones in hand, and with a little help from our favorite Matt, our call got through and we answered the question right and WON TICKETS TO MEET ANDY GRAMMER! Yes. We were screaming. Yelling. Jumping up and down. It was a good moment. This is the recording of our win:

I'll have to admit that between this, Keith Urban and Josh Groban... I'm a pretty lucky girl! :)

OHHHHHH MAN!

Oh YES! I just found this little gem! BAHAHAHA! I had to post it. This was senior year, and our assignment was to make a video or do a skit in front of the class on our assigned scene from Hamlet. Our group was clearly superior and I think we had Mrs. Riley in tears because she was laughing so hard! Ohh man. These were some good times:)

The Wall of Awesome

A few days ago, Alli and I decided that our wall looked pretty empty. All we had was a TV and a Princess Bride Calender. So, we went to Walmart, found a Star Wars poster, put it up and decided it still wasn't enough. So, my dad came down to St. George on Monday for a conference thing, and I told him to bring me any extra posters they had lying around so we could add to our collection. Here's what it looks like now:
It's still not good enough yet, we need to get some more random posters and then we're probably going to put random pictures in the small empty spaces, but when it gets finished... we're going to have THE coolest apartment in the building!
The end...

Bye-Bye Facebook

If you were trying to stalk me on Facebook this morning, and couldn't... it's because I temporarily disabled my account. I know I'll be back, but I at least want to be off for a few weeks. It takes away so much of my free time, and I have better things to do. Like go to the gym. SO, if you need to talk to me, you can email me, comment here or even better, just text me! The end...
