Creeeeeper....s

To get the full effect of this post you need to play the below video and listen to the song while you are reading the post:

See this. This is the creep. If you haven't seen this SNL sketch, it probably means you have a life.
ANYWAY, lately, I feel like these guys have been following me around... I've just had a lot of experiences with a lot of creepers lately. Surprisingly, there is more creepers than normal people at LDSBC. AND all of these people want to be my friend. I'm not trying to be mean or anything, but I just can't handle them all right now. There is 3 that are just in my classes, not to mention the others in the school that stare and other people that I work with.
For example: the other day we got into groups in one of my classes. I didn't know anyone else in the group. I started having this coughing attack... kind of embarrassing .. anyway... This kid in my group looks at me, pulls out his water bottle that he has been drinking all day and was like, "Do you want some water?" ummmm... No thank you! I mean it was nice and all for him to offer, but I don't know him! And he wants me to drink from his water bottle! ah!
So then, there's this other kid in another class... I call him creepy Chris, because he looks like Christopher Walken, but creepy. He always wants to talk to me about everything. I had to tell him I have a boyfriend (even though I don't) so that he'd leave me alone! I swear, every RM at that school is only there to find a wife.
I think these boys just need to understand that there is only one boy out there for me. And his name is Josh.

My LDSBC Experience... So Far...

Okay. Since I've survived my first 2 weeks and it looks like I'm staying, I'll tell you about LDS Business College. Imagine every awkward person you've ever encountered mixed with a couple dozen RMs, a few self-absorbed jerks, and a limited number of normal people. That's the business college. Seriously. I love it, and I don't think I've laughed so hard at school, but it's true. There are some C-R-A-Z-Y people that go there.

Exhibit A: There was this kid in one of my classes who got home from his mission exactly 2 DAYS before school started. I've never seen such an awkward creature in my whole life. He was so sad and so hilarious all at the same time. A few other kids and me stayed after class to talk to him. He had served in Africa so he was telling us all of the different languages he learned there. Then he said (and I quote exactly- I'm not making this up), "But the most important language I learned on my mission, was the language of the Spirit." Oh jeez. I had to put my hand over my mouth so that I wouldn't bust out laughing at him. It was SO funny. Since this class period he has switched out, but we had a few fun days with him.

Exhibit B: There is this girl in my English class and I can't help but stare at her. She probably thinks I'm a lesbo or something, but seriously, she is really odd. She always raises her hand and says whatever the heck she is thinking whether or not it applies to the lesson. And the other day, she wore a tie!!! She wore a tie to school. And I know what you're thinking, Maddi don't judge her, she probably just got back from her work where that's her uniform. But, I can tell you that it wasn't a uniform because it was a crocheted tie. It was handmade. Not a uniform. Strange. Very strange.

Exhibit C: MY WHOLE PERSONAL FINANCE CLASS. I have to take this at night because it is the only class I could get into. It full of married people that think they know everything. Then they look at me and think that I'm stupid because I'm not married. There's like one other kid in the class that's not married but he smells like body odor. It's just... it's just a really strange class for me.

Anyway, I know there will be many more stories to come, but that's all I've got from my first two weeks. That's all for now!
Bye.

Hi. I'm not dead...

Yep. I'm still alive here. Just forgot I had a blog... haha actually really though I work all the time and never do anything. BUT Mitch is coming home on Wednesday!!! WOOOOO! Crazy stuff. I'm soooo excited. I'm also SUPER excited because we are going to San Diego right after he gets home! Yay! San Diego is like my favorite place with my favorite people... my Grandparents!!! They are awesome and I'm so excited to see them!
Anyway, really fast so you all don't think I'm a loser who doesn't do anything... this is all the exciting things I've done this summer.

1. I went Ghost Hunting with Hailee! AH! It was sooo scary but so fun! We went and saw some haunted places around Salt Lake and it was awesome! The scariest part was when we went to Ted Bundy's house and got to walk right up to the cellar! It was awesome!!!!!
Hailee looking into Ted Bundy's cellar.
 Fort Douglas cemetary
 2. I went to the Joshua Radin concert with Casey. Joshua Radin is one of my heroes. If you've never heard of him, you should look him up. He's like alternative with a raspy attractiveness voice... ha ha ... yeah. It was really exciting because we were super close to him. Also we were excited because it was a 21+ venue, but we used our fake IDs to get in... JUST KIDDING. ha ha they just let 18+ into this show. it was AWESOME!

This is us... if you couldn't tell.
3. I took Thomas and Jacob to the zoo! My mom was kinda stressed last week and I could tell we were driving her crazy so after work one day we drove up to the zoo and stayed there for a few hours. It was really fun!

4. My mom took me to get manicures and pedicures for an early birthday present. Since Mitch's homecoming is on my birthday, my mom took me and we did stuff early this year so I wouldn't feel like I had no birthday. It was fun!

5. I went and saw some movies. Ha ha....
-Avengers (Once with Abby and once with Jacob)
-Snow White and the Huntsman with Kira
-Dark Knight Rises with Kira
-Step Up Revolution with my mom
-Rock of Ages with my mom and Colleen
-Brave with my Family

6. I did some hikes with Kira and Brett and we went swimming in Farmington Pond with the Rope Swing.

7. I watched the Olympics! Probably one of the best things of this summer. I found new future husbands. Ryan Lochte (Who I've loved for a while now) and Tom Daley, the British diver who won Bronze. He's only like 8 months younger than me... it's fine. Ha ha.

Okay, he's not very smart, but he's super cute.

 Tom Daley:) SOOOO cute.

And that's about it. Besides working a lot and getting ready for Mitch to come home, I haven't really done much. But tomorrow I don't even think I'll care about my unproductive summer.
Alright that's all for now. Kbye.
28 more hours!

Well, mish life is going good, I only have about 6 more weeks out here, very crazy,. I dont know if it was the same for you, but time has FLOWN by. What are your future plans? School? Mission? Work? ...

Uh... okay. So basically all I ever do is work and watch movies, and blogging about work is no fun, so you get to hear about the movies. Ha ha

So I just finished what could possibly be one of my favorite movies ever. It came out in 2005 and we rented it right after it came to DVD, but I fell asleep and never finished. Well, recently I fell back into my Christian Bale kick where I'm determined to see every movie of his that's not rated R. And so then I remembered he was in this and I never finished it. So, I rented it yesterday and watched it today. It's called The New World.
A-mazing. I basically sobbed through the last half of the movie. This is like a live-action version of Pocahontas... but this movie is a bit more accurate to what actually happened. Not much more accurate, but more than the Disney movie. But still, if you love the Disney movie, I demand that you see this. You'll love it. I love it. I just, seriously, have no words to describe this movie except amazing. Seriously, watch it.

Okay. That is all. I promise, I'll try to do more exciting stuff this summer.

Obsessed

Yesterday, my friend and I went and saw Snow White and the Huntsman.
There's a trailer if you haven't heard of it yet. I knew I was going to like the movie. I mean, Chris Hemsworth is in it. How can a movie be bad if he's in it:
Serious beauty here. He's just... perfect. Anyway, I had no idea how much I'd LOVE the movie. Thomas saw the movie at the same time I did so after the movie I turned to him and asked him if he liked it. He said, "meh." Meh? WHAT?!?! I thought it was probably one of the best movies I've ever seen. And then I realized... oh. That was kind of a chick flick. You don't really realize it because of all the fighting and action and stuff, but it really is. BUT, I still think that even if you're a boy you should go see it. Because the CG stuff is SO COOL and the fighting is awesome and yeah. Chris Hemsworth is beautiful, and that should be enough to go see the movie.
Okay next. Rock of Ages:
Okay it hasn't come out yet... but I really want to see it. I bought the soundtrack today and I love it! It's basically just musical versions of classic rock songs. But, it doesn't sound cheesy like stupid Glee. I love it. And the actors from the movie are actually singing on the soundtrack... so it is actually Tom Cruise singing. AND... he's not that bad. He's definitely not the best singer on the cd, but he's not the worst. And, as we all know, Tom is the only reason my mom is going to see the movie. But let's face it, this is the reason I'm going to see the movie:
Diego Boneta. mmm. Stud. Plus, he has an AMAZING voice! He is my favorite to listen to on the soundtrack. I die inside every time I listen to him and Julianne Hough sing Heaven. Oh, I cannot wait to see him in the movie.

So if anyone wants to come along, my mom and I are going on opening day to see it!
That is all.

Hey there... it's Been a While...

Hello to those who still read this! Ha ha, sorry it's been a while. I moved home, got my job back, and honestly, I forgot I had a blog. So what have I done since I've been back? Not much. Mostly I just work and sleep nowadays. Today though, I went to Singles Ward for the first time... it was scary. Ha ha not really. I went with my friends, but it was my friend Lexi's last week. She is moving to Jackson Hole for the summer to be a river guide! I am going to miss her a lot! But she'll have fun without us.

This was us right after church today.

In other news: SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE IS BACK ON! Seriously, that is what I look forward to every summer. It's THE best show. Ummm.... so this guy is my favorite so far. He's an AMAZING dancer. Also, he's suuuuper cute. Also, he's from Australia. He's perfect.

He's got my vote. For suuure.

Okay. That's all for now. Hopefully I can keep this updated all summer. I'll try. I really will.

I Have the Sweetest Brother

So I got an email from Mitchell today and it was so sweet. I just had to share it with all of you.

Well, hello my little hermanitos. How are you all? Of course I remember you, but you all wont remember me when I get home. I am old and fat now haha. Well, we will see in 3 months. You guys are gonna have to help me get used to being at home again. I seriously have no idea what Im going to do, but I know that you guys will be taking me places and showing me movies and helping. I am very grateful that God gave me the family that I have. You guys are the best and you have no idea how much I miss you and how excited I am to hang out with you guys when I get back. That is something that I didnt take advantage of before the mission, being with the family. Hang out with Mom and Dad, they are cool too...(most of the time). Be good. Go to seminary. Read your scriptures. Go to church. Be nice. Help EVERYONE. Well, that is all for this week. Write me back ya? Love you!, Chauuuu, Elder Sheridan

100 more days and he'll be home!!!!

Welcome

Welcome to the Ginger Chronicles. Same person, same blog, just a new name. I will be done with school at Dixie State College by the end of the week so my previous Life As A Rebel title does not apply anymore. I won't be a rebel. Plus, the Ginger Chronicles is more fitting anyway.

Anyways, while I'm writing I just wanted to express me happiness to all of you. For some reason I just have a thing for guys named Josh. Especially if they sing. So a few years ago I started listening to this guy:
He just has really great music. SO anyway, I was looking this morning at concerts coming to Salt Lake this summer. So I saw his name and I got so excited because I couldn't see him last time he came because I had dance. But, then I looked and saw he was playing at the Depot. So I shed a few tears and complained about it on Twitter. Little did I know he'd respond:)
So then I looked it up and yep. It's an 18+ show! So I get to go! I can't wait. Now I'm just in a really great mood! AND 10 more days till I move home! :):):)

Two Years

Oh Gosh. It's been two years since one of my greatest adventures. I can't believe it's been two years already. It feels like I was just there! But I already want to go back! Two years ago I had the opportunity to go to Philly with one of my best friends and learn about our country. It was such an awesome experience and I fell in love with Philly! We stayed in some dorms inside of Valley Forge and we got to tour both Philly and Valley Forge. I just cannot even describe how cool it was to be there with kids from all over the country learning about our government. I would go back in a heartbeat.
This is Kaitlyn and me on the bus right after we got off the plane.
Alexander Hamilton, Kaitlyn, me and Thomas Jefferson.
During our free time we always went and took pictures!

We added our own little Mormon touch to this picture:)
This man did not want his picture taken with us!
We met some really awesome people there. Like this guy^^ Ha ha his name is Matthew and he's from California. When he first introduced himself though, he said he was Brian from Washington. It took us forever to figure out that no one from Washington was even there! But he's awesome and he's about to leave on his mission to... Washington (DC) ha ha but still, it's funny.
While we were walking in to see the Liberty Bell, there was these Asian people outside doing some weird Yoga stuff, so Kaitlyn and I were mocking them.
Kylie, Kaitlyn and me at the Liberty Bell.
 Caden and I.
 Home of the Phillies!!!
This is Kade. Me and him have stayed pretty good friends since this! He is awesome!
Airplane ride back. The ride back was a lot more fun than the ride there. The ride there no one knew each other, so no one really talked. But on the way home, if they could have kicked us off the plane, they would have!
Elliott and I. He's from Louisiana.
In front of Independence Hall. I seriously LOVE this place. LOVE IT.
Look Kait! A giant steaming MAN HOLE!
Yes, we ran up the stairs from Rocky and posed by the Rocky statue. We're awesome.

Okay, now who wants to go back with me!?!?!

Good Weekend

So this was basically one of the best weekends ever. On Friday, I spent most of the day in the photo lab and got a lot of my photo work done. It turned out really good and I was really happy.
Later that night Alli and I had a Supernatural marathon and watched this movie called The Skulls. It was good, but we were disappointed because it said it was a scary movie and it wasn't very scary at all.

Then, on Saturday we went horseback riding at Lindsay's friend's house. And yes. I actually got on the horse. Ha ha, it was scary because the horse didn't like me that much.

 These were some sheep.
This was us with a Mule named Lightning
Alli and Lindsay petting the bull.
After we were done, we went and ate at a Mexican restaurant. We came back and Alli and I wanted to watch a really scary movie. So we started watching this movie called Grave Encounters. At the beginning we didn't think it was that scary because they were basically just making fun of Ghost Adventures, but by the end we were screaming our lungs out. It was so scary! We were so freaked out we had to watch 2 episodes of Say Yes to the Dress and a Disney Channel movie before we weren't scared anymore. Ha ha, but while we were watching Say Yes to the Dress I braided all of Alli's hair. She looked beautiful:
Anyway, it was such a fun weekend! Only one more left down here before I move home!

Thought for Today:

Love it. Happy two weeks until Avengers! 14 days, 9 hours and 8 minutes until the premiere... but who's counting?

Email from my brother

After two hours of complete panic I finally got my email from my brother that he said he would send. Yeah, I was really excited. Ha ha, but he's definitely turned to a weirdy. He says so himself. He says that he really only has two skills and that he doesn't know how he's going to find a wife with them. Anyway, here's the letter if you want to read it:

Well, well, well…. Hello Maddison! It is me, your older brother that is in Peru! Do you remember me? Haha Well, I asked permission from Presidente Ardila to write you an email every week too and he said yes. Bueno, Sorry I haven’t been sending you very many letters… You have no idea how much work we have to do! BUT i figured that sending you an email every week almost counts as a handwritten letter. How is school? What are you studying? I am nervous to get back to school and get back to the real world. Before the mission I had lots of skills, but now I only have like 2. How am I supposed to look for a future wife if the only things I can do well are speak Spanish and walk fast? I remember when you told me that you were excited for me to get home and be in my returned-missionary-super-awkward stage. I didnt think I would happen, but I am sure I am going to be a whole lot different when I get home. You know what is SUPER wierd for me? That you are about to be 20 years old!! Whaaa?? Haha we should have a race to see who gets married first! Haha Bueno, I have to go, but write me back! Good luck with college and keep up the good work! Love ya! CHAU Elder Sheridan (Your brother)
PS If you forgot what I look like I sent a pic.
PPS Thats not really what I look like, I was just pulling a face, you know me!
I love how he thinks I'm almost 20... ha ha I don't think he remembers that I'm 2 years younger than him. Also, I am not competing in his race to get married first. Ha ha, he can just get married first... I'll let him win;)

Obsessed... I think it's Okay...

So a few months ago our friend Connor showed us an episode of this show called Supernatural. Alli and I were intrigued... but mostly because the men in the show are suuuper attractive:
We'd heard of the show before, but never really watched it, but once we saw their faces, it was basically love at first sight. We started from the beginning on Netflix and started watching every episode. Well tonight we finished Season 5. It was SOOO good! Oh my heck. It seriously is on my list of favorite tv shows right up next to LOST, which is very hard to do.
The show is just so funny, and we seriously can't stop watching it.
We've established that Alli is married to Dean, the one on the right, and I am married to Sam, on the left.
They're kind of perfect.

Anyway. I just had to express my love for this show to you all. If you haven't ever seen it, I would go watch an episode. If you've never heard of it, well then shame on you.
That's all. Kbye.
