Almost time!
Yes guys. It's coming. I'm going home tomorrow!!!!!! WOOOOOOOO!!!! I never thought this day would come!! My heck though, I still have so much to do, so I don't know why I'm blogging. Ha. I have to finish packing and finish my design for my makeup final (I'm turning myself into David Bowie:)). One more final and I'm done. I've been really nervous about it, but I've hardly thought about it today at all! I had my history final this morning and in the middle of it the fire alarm went off and we had to stand outside for 15 minutes! I just wanted to finish my test! Then, As some of you know, I'm a professional commercial voice down here... Not really. Haha but Dylan and I went in today to do another recording and he got a commercial about a taxi service and mine was like a PSA telling people not to drink and drive! So we did that, then we went and got smoothies and went window shopping! But now I have to finish packing:p BTOWN here I come!!!

This Week...
FINALLY OVER! This has seriously the longest week of my life. Finals are next week and seriously... they're going to be the death of me. Literally. I feel like death right now. My throat is swollen and my eyes can't stay open, but we're doing good.
So earlier this week, I met a friend of a friend who is a DJ on the only good radio station in St. George. He also apparently makes radio commercials for local businesses. So apparently he had been looking for someone to do a radio commercial but couldn't find the right voice. Well, when I started talking to him, he apparently liked my voice and asked if I could come in and record the commercial. So, I went in with my friend Dylan the next day to record the commercial. It was just kind of a weird, awkward thing to happen. I mean, I've always found my voice really annoying. But apparently it is radio quality! SO we went into the studio and we went into this room with a big microphone and he gave me the script and we started recording. He did a quick pre-edit and then played it back for me. It was SO weird to hear my voice edited and have background music behind it. Then, after we recorded we got to watch the guy do a live radio show. It was really cool to watch! It was such a fun day!
Well today, I got the final edit of the commercial sent to me. It sounds SOOOO weird! The commercial goes on air on Monday on a couple different radio stations down here. So now, I'm going to be hearing my voice on the radio! I texted my mom earlier and she said "Wow. You're on Youtube, in a movie AND on the radio! You're famous!" ha ha... I don't think I'm famous... but it's kind of cool!
Other than that, it's been a pretty boring week! BUT.... ONE WEEK FROM TODAY I WILL BE HOME! YAAAAY!!! TTFN folks!

Celebrities Without Eyebrows
So... I discovered this blog a while ago that edits the eyebrows off of famous people. It seriously is one of the most entertaining things. You wouldn't think people would look weird without eyebrows, but they totally do! I posted the pictures they did of Josh Groban and Adam Levine. Both are very attractive men, but look seriously freakish without their brow!! Haha the website is http://celebswithouteyebrows.blogspot.com/
Go check it out. You'll love it.

When I go home...

Okay... we're getting close! The paper chain countdown only says 10 more days!!! Then I go home! I'm so excited!!!! So anyway... these are things I need to do in my 3 weeks of being home(YAY!!!)

Yep. It's heart-to-heart-to-heart time. It can't just be heart-to-heart because there is 3 hearts between us! Ha ha... It's been so long since I've seen these two... and I just love them so much! I can't wait to see them! Yearbook cult 4 life!

Yes. These are my two best friends. I would be nothing without them. I need to see them too. Really bad. I haven't seen Kira since she came to visit me, and I haven't seen Casey since the last time I was home. It's very sad. I miss them.

I get to go to my home ward! YAY! Ha ha... single's ward is getting kinda boring. Ha ha, but I miss my girls back in Bountiful... They just make me so happy!

ALSO, I need to have a movie marathon/calorie fest/sleepover with my best friend Rachel! I miss her a lot! Movies aren't the same anymore without her!

And last, but not least, I get to spend time with my family! YAY! I know, they get sick of me up there sometimes... But we're going to have FUN! Movies, and sleepovers and Christmas... it's going to be fun! AND I'll be home in time for our family Christmas party, so I'll get to see all my extended family too! I just can't even wait! 10 more days!!!!

Yeah... so I'm Kinda in Love...
Yep. His name is Josh. And he has curly hair. And a voice like an angel. And he's kinda known all around the world. And for my birthday back in August my mom got me tickets to see him in concert, and he sang to me. And I cried...
Ha ha so most of you know that for my 18th birthday my mom got me tickets to see Josh Groban in concert. Well, my aunt was super awesome and ended up getting us floor seats for the show. But, my mom kept it a secret from me and told me we had super crappy seats. So, the day of the concert I literally screamed out loud.. people stared at me like I was crazy. So anyway.. I really lucked out and he sang me happy birthday. It kinda made my life.
So this morning I got a message on my YouTube account (Where I have my video of him singing to me posted) from this lady and it said that she had a great video that she wanted to show me from the concert. Well, I watched it and she got the WHOLE thing on camera. Like, she even got him walking right up to my seat. It's craziness. I teared up a little again watching it... it's still completely unreal that this happened to me, but I'm not complaining:)

Is it Time to go Home Yet?

Yeah. I did just get back from San Diego, but I'm ready to go home. Like, home home though. Lindsay and I made a paper chain countdown until the day I get to come home for Christmas break! YAY! I'm so excited... But still... 19 days seems like a long time. But I can make it. I just had an awesome week in San Diego with my family- We saw seals, a dead whale and almost Prince Harry!(AH) I know. I'm still kicking myself for not going black Friday shopping because yes... I could have seen England's one and only Prince Harry. So anyway... all the pictures are on facebook and if you want to know more about the trip... I'm sure my mom will blog about it. You can check there http://sheridansix.blogspot.com/ I'm just too lazy to blog about. SOOO 19 more days WAHOO!

Pretty Good End to a Crappy Week
So this week started off miserably. I already knew it was going to be a long week because I'm so excited to go to San Diego on Wednesday, but there was just a lot of drama this week and I didn't really appreciate it. People are really stupid sometimes and the first three days of this week sucked. But on Thursday I went on a date with this really awesome guy named Brandon, and we went to see this band called Fictionist. They were actually really good, but none of us had ever heard them before. In fact, I'm pretty sure the only person there who knew their songs was this guy right here:

From the very first song, he was jumping and dancing and rocking out to this band. It was hilarious! For the first song, he was the only one standing up and dancing! Then more people started getting up with him and we decided to go over with him too. But right when we were walking to the other side he gets up and started to walk away! We didn't know where he was going, but when we looked up, he was getting up onstage and dancing with the band. The band was laughing so hard, they could hardly play their music. After the song, he came back down and we danced with him for the rest of the concert! It was AWESOME! After the show we met the band and this is me and the pretty attractive lead singer:

So, that was a super fun night!
Then, on Friday, I went camping with a bunch of awesome people! It was SO nice just to get away for a night and be with fun people. It was pretty cold, but we walked around, did a little bouldering, had some smore's and tried to catch a rabbit with Ean's tomahawk (long story)
This is Ean and his friend Danny trying to break the wood up:

So it turned out to not be such a crappy week after all, but I'm still counting down the days till my family gets here!!

Sometimes My Life Feels Like Community...
If any of you are fans of the show community, you will know exactly what I'm talking about here. If you don't, then you can just laugh at my awkward situation. So basically my sociology professor looks like the Dean from community:

Except he has hair... so he looks a little more like this:

Just a little less creepy. His voice also weirdly sounds like him too. So anyways, my professor goes off on these really long tangents than have ABSOLUTELY no relation to the topic we are discussing. Today his tangent was on Bob Dylan. So, I wasn't really paying any attention to anything he was saying, and all of a sudden he yells my name and tells me to sing with him. Ummm... what? So he comes and stands next to my desk and starts singing Bob Dylan. But I don't really know any Bob songs, you see, I'm more of a fan of his son Jakob. So he keeps singing and I wasn't really sure what to do, so I just stared at him. I kind of felt like Jeff in last week's Community episode:

Finally, he realized I felt super weird, so he just moved on and didn't say anything else about it. It was a weird day... BUT only 8 more days to San Diego!!! YAY!!!

I Love My Brothers SOOOOO Much!

No. I didn't get hacked. I really do love them. Thomas was in St. George today for a swim meet, so I was able to go and watch and cheer for him! He did AMAZING! Even though he doesn't think he did good, I thought he was awesome. He CRUSHED everyone else. He was ahead from the very start. My heck, he is so talented.
Look at that stud...
1st place, lane 4 Boys Cheer
Then, while I was at the swim meet I get a text from my mom that said this, "I heard Jake and his friend in the kitchen and I overheard him say, this is kinda random, but I miss Maddi. then his friend said, is she your best friend? and Jake said, Yeah, we are tight!" OH! It just broke my heart a little. I love that little boy so much. He is such a stud. I can't even handle it.
And of course, it wouldn't be a post about how much I love my brothers if I didn't mention my favorite older brother Mitchell! He is the coolest guy I know... seriously. He is an awesome missionary and the best older brother in the world. Even though he STILL hasn't sent me a letter yet, I still love him. He is such a good example to me and in 9 more months he'll be home! YAAAY!
So anyways... I just love my brothers a lot, and I'm actually glad I'm an only girl so that I am all of their favorite sister!

Okay... so maybe I'm loving the Theater department...
I know, I know. I gave up theater in high school because I wanted to dance. But, I've been taking a stage makeup class at Dixie and I love it. I wasn't sure at first if I liked it or not. The teacher didn't really appreciate anything that I was doing because, let's be honest, I wasn't that good. We had an assignment last week to do research on a particular artist from the 18th century and create a makeup design based on their portraits. Well we were practicing it today and the teacher said he loved what I was doing and that I had really gotten the idea of the assignment. I was pretty happy because he NEVER likes anything I do. Never. So maybe I'll stick with it for a little bit... but for those who know me well know that this cannot be the only reason I'm sticking with it. You're right. There is a cute boy in the class... Yes, he's a theater major, and no, he's not gay. At least I don't think so. Anyway, he's super cute and talented and he told me that I looked really cute today. AND he liked my makeup design too. So... maybe I'll stick with this to have a few more classes with him:)
These are some pictures of my makeup attempts:
